Nike’s dedicated skateboarding sub-brand, Nike SB collaborated with everyone’s favourite ice cream brand, Ben & Jerry’s (who doesn’t love them!?) to launch a limited edition sneaker, Chunky Dunky. The pair is based on their most prolific flavour offering Chunky Monkey, fitting the theme for a chunky padded skate focussed shoe.
They launched a limited edition sneaker for $100 earlier in May 2020. As you can see in the image above, the outsole mimics the green hillside seen on the container where cows dance in the foreground, and shoes leather overlay features a hair cow faux-print.
These sneakers went at $100 for retail and are already fetching themselves thousands of dollars on resale marketplace. The Vermont based brand has always remained committed to its core value of doing good and having fun. It is to celebrate the shared ethos that Nike SB collaborated with Ben & Jerry’s
